Bad Beat

 
For every raked hand played on our Progressive Bad Beat Jackpot tables a jackpot contribution of 50 cents will be collected from the pot.  That way, every time a hand is raked on one of our many jackpot tables the jackpot increases. The Jackpot gets bigger and bigger the more you play!

Jackpot tables are predefined Hold ‘em tables. These tables will be displayed under "Bad Beat" under the Hold’em section in the Poker Lobby.

The following rules apply to the Bad Beat Jackpot:

• Four or more Players must be dealt into the hand.
• The losing hand must be Four-of-a-Kind - 8’s or better.
• The hand of the winner and loser must include the hole cards and the hand must go to a showdown.
• The hand must have contributed to the jackpot to qualify.

The payout schedule for the jackpot, when won, is as follows:

• 70% is used for Player winnings
• 20% is used to seed the next Jackpot
• 10% will be retained by Microgaming as administrative fee

The 70% Player winnings portion is split as follows:

• 50% to the loser - the Player with the Bad Beat hand
• 25% to the winner
• 25% to the other Players who actively participated in the hand

Payments are made directly to winners’ accounts. A real-time ticker is displayed in the lobby to track the progressive jackpot.
